This Valentine’s Day might look a little different than it has in past years. With the pandemic still going on, we’re still social distancing, wearing masks and trying to keep safe.
Yet, this doesn’t mean celebrating holidays like Valentine’s Day should go unnoticed. In fact, it’s the perfect time to find a way to lift the spirits of those around you.
Whether it’s a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend or really anyone close to you (maybe your pup?) Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to share the love and we have various ways to help you do just that.
Nominate a small business owner through Kuju’s #GenerosityCan Program
Just this past holiday season, we launched our #GenerosityCan Program to help support small business owners who have had to shut down their businesses permanently due to COVID-19.
It was born out of our Source-to-Soul™ impact philosophy and we hope that the program helps to provide encouragement, even if just through a cup of pour over coffee, to the folks who have lost something they’ve put their souls into building.
So if you are or know one of these small business owners who have shut down, you can nominate them on our #GenerosityCan page and we’ll send a box of Kuju Coffee pour overs to help lift their spirits.
Send someone a coffee gift bundle
If you’re looking for something a little more personal, then one of our pour over coffee gift bundles can be a great option. They’re unique, come in plenty of varieties and nothing spreads the love like a warm, delicious cup of coffee. It’s perfect for the camper, wanderer, backpacker or coffee lover in your life. Here are some great starting options at a variety of prices:
Kuju Starter Pack (comes with free Kuju Enamel Mug) - $20
Ultimate Kuju Lover’s Bundle - $150
Take them on a weekend trip to a Getaway Cabin
You may be stuck at home right now. Whether it’s because one of the recent snowstorms or because of COVID, weekends and weekdays might start blending together. The good news is that there’s a safe way to adventure and getaway into the wilderness.
We recommend checking out Getaway – beautifully designed individual cabins in the woods just outside of cities for easy access. They have cabins all across the country, so be sure to check their list of locations to see if there is one near you. And if it’s too late to book for Valentine’s Day, make it a trip to look forward to in the future!
Fun Fact: Getaway cabins all feature Kuju Coffee’s Basecamp Blend pour overs.
Make them their morning coffee right out of bed
Even the simplest acts of kindness can go a long way to share the love. And perhaps you and your loved one or friend have fallen into a drowning daily routine of work, eat and sleep with little to look forward to. To share the love here’s a little tip:
Pick a day in the next two weeks. Commit to making someone a cup of coffee or tea or whatever warm beverage they prefer. And deliver it straight to their bed when they wake up so that they can experience the warmth and love from a freshly made cup of coffee.
Write them a note with why you’re grateful for them
Sometimes sharing the love is not about doing something or buying something. It can be as simple as sharing kind words to affirm that you care. So this Valentine’s Day, you can write a thoughtful note to share why you’re grateful for whoever it is you are writing to. You can do this with any of the above tips or you can just write a note on a card or text.
In this case, it truly is the thought that counts.
